Monday - A Lion Discovery Trail and Spider Discovery

Today is our welcome day and we get to know each other through playing a variety of fun welcome games. After an exciting morning at Academicus we will head out to find lions on our Adventure Trail in Zurich. We will also keep our eyes open for spiders, and see how many we can find, as today is also about spiders. We will make some cute spider crafts, read funny spider books, and play some spider(man?) games. What a fantastic way to start camp!

Tuesday - An Enchanted Castle, Witches and Wizards

Tuesday will be another day full of fun and excitement. We will make witch and wizard masks, create real wands, perform magic, learn some spells and embark on a trip to find the witch living in the Lenzburg Castle. Lots of fun at the playground outside of the castle awaits the group, as well as fun dress ups inside the castle. Stories about smart, funny and crazy witches as well as their cats also awaits us. Plus many more songs and games at Academicus!

Wednesday - Magic Potions, A Science Class and Bowling

Wednesday will be all about magic potions. We will create our own potions, see how colours mix, and learn some science behind bubbles. We will use some sceleton bones in our potions and then create mini skeletons to decorate your home for HalloweenMany more games, books, songs, as well as a trip to FunBowl Bowling also awaits our happy campers! And once back from bowling more crafts and play time, awaits us, and maybe even some playground discovery!

Thursday - How to Design a Haunted House, Ghost Lanterns & Museum Fur Gestaltung

Today the group will embark on a journey of creation. They will create their own ghost lanterns, which can then be used for Halloween, they will create a gigantic haunted house, and co-create a ghost fort at the discovery floor of the Museum Fur Gestaltung. Our happy campers will learn about design, and put their skills to the test back at Academicus. Of course, we will make sure there is lots of time for crafts, books, songs and games, as well!

Friday - Halloween Party & an Indoor Playground

We cannot believe that the camp is coming to an end, as today is the last day! We will celebrate with a Halloween Dress Up Party, lots of songs, laughter and fun! We might do face painitng too, and then continue our celebrations at an indoor playgoround! In case we stil have some time and energy we will still make some final decorations for home for Halloween, and read some last books, too. What a great end to a fantastic camp week!
